Montevallo, Alabama Real Estate

Montevallo is a small town south of Birmingham. Home to the Unversity of Montevallo, the city of the same name has a unique atmosphere. Although not quite a "college town", the presence of the University helps make Montevallo unique. Located south of Montevallo is Brierfield Ironworks State Historic Park. The park offers a historic rendition of the Union Army's attack on the Ironworks during the Civil War. Along with the historic recreations, Brierfield is host to other events such as a Bluegrass Music Festival and annual Birmingham Kennel Club dog shows.

A popular attraction in Montevallo is the American Village. The American Village in Montevallo is a historic park representing the early American lifestyle.
